As I'm unpacking from a 10 day beach holiday, I realized I didn't use half of the items I took on my trip. I overpacked and could have totally gotten by with a carry-on bag (as I usually do). I guess I'll blame it on the crazy work weeks leading up to the trip, while in the process of styling my clients I totally forgot about myself. 

The day before my flight I noticed I barely had any beachwear items with me in Brazil, so I ran to a couple of shops and quickly purchased a variety of options - only to later realize that a couple basic ones would have sufficed. 

I was reminded on this trip that it's absolutely possible (and preferable) to style a variety of minimal chic outfits with just a handful of items.
